Training

I come from a family of artists, and grew up experimenting with a variety of art media. Since my childhood I felt especially drawn to photography. I decided to study photography as a Studio Art major at Furman University. Countless hours in the Furman darkroom helped me perfect my film processing techniques, and I also was trained in digital photography and editing. I use digital most often in photo shoots because of its ease and versatility.

Fine Art Flair

My experiences with photojournalism give my portraits an introspective quality. Most commercial photography just follows the fads. But I like to create photos that are contemporary, and yet maintain a timeless appeal. My goal is giving clients artistic photos that they will be able to treasure in decades to come.
